How a casual joke turned
into a front-cover reality on
only my second session at
Linear Fisheries.
Every carp angler carries
a bucket list. For some, it’s a
milestone weight; for others,
it’s the historical aura of a
legendary venue. But for me, it
has always been about a specific
look. I wanted a “fully”—one
of those breathtaking, heavily
scaled mirror carp that looks
more like a gallery painting
than a fish.
Exactly one month ago,
during my blank debut session
o n M a n o r Fa r m a t t h e f a m o u s
Linear Fisheries complex, I
was winding up a few of my
mates. I jokingly sent them a
