DREAMS
It was the first time out this week for me as the lake of dreams
finally opened up again, having been closed for a couple of
months for spawning. Now, to say I was a little bit excited would
be a little understated! I couldn’t wait to get another chapter
underway on the phenomenal Grenville. I was all loaded up,
bait prepped and ready for an early start for the 320-mile round
trip down the A1 to my piece of heaven on Earth. I arrived
in good time, being first at the gate, which is always a bonus,
but it wasn’t too long before a couple more members arrived.
Seven o’clock arrived, and it was time to make our way to the
lake as my first session of the season began. After exchanging
pleasantries with Paul, the creator of Grenville, it was time to
take a walk and choose our swims. For no other reason other
than I wanted to start my season from where I left it , I opted
for peg 12… Does lightning strike twice?
