Championships in Latvia…
Bringing it home for England
Here’s her story: “This year’s
World Championships were
held in Latvia on Lake Balote,
a lake of approximately 450
acres with depths of up to 10
feet and a very silty lakebed.
We also competed on the
Big Carp 20
same lake at the 2024 World
Championships, where
we
didn’t perform as well as we
had hoped.
However, returning this year,
we had a new plan in place
and felt confident as a team.
My partner, Ellen Beedham,
and I drew peg B1, which we
were pleased with as it was an
end peg. The first 24 hours were
fairly slow, but after making
a few adjustments, the swim
