was a whisker under fifty
and the other a goodun too,
b u t I ’d w o r k e d r i d i c u l o u s l y
hard and been stung by
s e v e r e w e a t h e r. I ’d d o n e t h e
legwork though and knew I
needed to get back. Halfway
through the following years
trip, I was beginning to think
it was going to be another
w i l d g o o s e c h a s e, r e s u l t i n g i n
nothing other than a stack of
calories burned walking and
l o o k i n g.
