So, this is how I’m starting
2018 on the canals, with a
colourful little koi which has
brightened up an otherwise
d u l l d a y.
On the way home from
what would have been a
blank, I took a de-tour to
another spot for a quick look
(with a rod of course) and
this little fella was sticking
o u t l i k e a s o r e t h u m b, s o i t
seemed only right to have a
few casts free-lining a small
chunk of VNF boilie as I had
no bread.
Luck was finally on my side
as it half-heartedly took the
bait as it sank.
