As the campaign progressed
a n d th e we e d r e a c h e d i t s

significant change was made
to my approach. The lead clip
arrangement was replaced
w i t h a h e l ic o p t e r s e t u p , a
decision driven entirely by
i t i s finding opportun ities. T h e
l a ke is one of the busiest i n t h e
c o untry, and unde rstand i n g
t h e movements of the a ng l e r s
b e came almost as imp ortan t a s
u n derstanding the mo veme n t s
o f the carp. Once I reco gn i s e d
t h ose patterns, I knew w h e n
c e rtain swims would bec o m e
a v ailable and that kno wl e d g e
p r oved invaluable.
