RIP SIR PETE
SPRINGATE
“Very sad news with the passing of Sir Pete Springate, one of
the genuine legends and pioneers of British carp fishing.
Pete’s place in carp-fishing history is unquestionable. From
the famous Yeoveney brace of 36½lb and 38½lb in 1978, to
his extraordinary captures from Wraysbury, his name became
associated with some of the most memorable moments and most
iconic carp in British angling.
