I first went to Longreach at
the end of April last year with
o n e c a r p i n m i n d, t h a t b e i n g
the classic looking mirror
“Mutleys”. A few trips in

everything fell into place and
a dream was achieved the big
f u l l y w a s m i n e, l o o k e d e v e r y
b i t i n c r e d i b l e a s I ’d i m a g i n e d
her too and at a big summer
weight of 47.6, to top it all
o f f. J u s t a f t e r w e s l i p p e d h e r
back one of the rods still
fishing busted off and after a
bit off a tussle the lakes big
common rolled over the cord.
