After always wanting to do a spring campaign on Walthamstow's Lower
Maynard, this year Dave Levy was more determined than ever to make
it happen.
His first few sessions were frustrating, losing a couple of fish in quick
succession. Refusing to be beaten, Dave moved to a new swim to gain a
better line angle to his target area.
With a three-day session ahead and prime big-carp conditions approaching,
he knew there was a good chance.
