But the story did not stop there! Only a few days later my run of luck
continued in fine form, the second fully was none other than the 'Wharfs
Patch Fully!!'
A carp that I so dearly wanted in the album and a capture just 5 days
on from the big fully from Manor, I m still finding it hard to believe that
it s actually happened but at 7am on Tuesday morning I slipped the net
under one of the Wharfs most wanted, the Patch fully at a healthy 38lbs!!!
I arrived at the lake very late on the Monday and didn t actually get the
rods out until the early hours of Tuesday morning, but due to the very
well-lit nature of the urban venue it meant I could go to bed knowing that
the rods were out spot on!
