FROM THE WATER
Of the few members I d met and knew by that point, everyone seemed
as kind and humble as the next, and still that remains 2 and a half years
on. Many a warm welcome from what seemed more a gentleman s club
rather than a clicky circuit water! Refreshing!! I d love to say I turned up
and hauled on that first session, but that was sadly not the case! I found
a few fizzers and quickly caught a couple of tench, moved swims a couple
of times, and although I didn t catch, I learned enough in that few days
to say it wasn t a complete blank!
