SPRING RETURNS
FROM THE WATER
Spring was well underway, and I fished probably every other weekend
right through till spawning and pretty much the end of the ticket. I caught
another 40-pound ghosty common in May and numerous angry 30-plus
commons! That first season, I amassed almost 40 bites for around 35
fish, with roughly 130 fish to go at, and although that was a good return
and a great first season, I never really felt close to the big girls I knew
why and endeavoured to make my second season one to remember; you
see, I found myself fishing a lot of woodwork swims, comers, bays, etc.,
where I was seeing them at the time, but by now I d realised the big girls
like the open water; they do get nailed in the aforementioned areas from
time to time, normally when I was next door lol!!
