FROM THE WATER
I've been enjoying catching a few predators in the last few weeks but it
would be wrong to miss out on mornings like this behind the rods.
Over the last few weeks, I've been putting in a few blanks on the carp
but to keep a bend in the rod, iv spent most of my angling time targeting
predators on light lure gear. This morning though, I popped out with a
dead bait set up for the 1st time this year, in hope to pick up a better fish.
Well, it only took half an hour before the first bit of interest, which after
a slow take and an epic battle turned out to be this canal monster of just
over 21lb. Over the moon!
