FROM THE WATER
Well with the weather as awful as it was earlier, it would have been far
easier to have stayed at home in the warm, but I decided to make the
effort for a couple of hours and set up in the rain. After losing a huge pike
early on, that latched onto a tench I hooked, I found myself doing battle
with this common which managed to bury itself in the reeds before I even
got to the rod! A bit of patience and a lot of luck, and she worked herself
free and ended up safely in the net.
