I m enjoying my fishing at the minute. I ended up back on Birch for a night and was rewarded with these two
future lump, and then shortly after, I moved on some fizzers and was rewarded with this 34lb 4oz mirror.

FIELD NOTES
It was in my head that it could be one of only two fish the Mean Bean
and the Big Common. After a few more powerful runs, the Big Common
rolled across the spreader block, and it soon hit me which carp it was just
from its sheer size! I was absolutely blown away and lost for words. The
weight was 49lb 14oz.
Not much fishing went down that day, so I put some more Krill over the
spots. I got my rigs back out in the evening, and the same rod was away
again with a 30lb mirror, which topped me off if I was honest. It couldn't
have been going any better.
