FIELD NOTES
I d been dying to use this setup myself, but handed it over to Andy with
pleasure. Under pressure from half a dozen blokes, all giving advice,
Andy s tricky cast by committee was perfect, just on the spot that the
biggest patch of bubbles had been coming up with regularity over the
past hour.
And with that absolutely nothing happened! After 15 minutes of high
expectation, we all drifted off back to Pole Position to get breakfast on.
Wandering into Phill s swim, there was a distant cry of Fish on! Phill
and I looked at each other, laughed and almost broke into a brisk trot.
